Greetings, over the years I've been archiving bits and pieces of social history, some of which is in terrible condition and murder on the eyes. So, to save my eyesight and make their contents more accessible in SEO dominated net scape, I've been transcribing scanned materials and audio material. This blog will be dedicated to this material, so my other activities don't get in the way.

In this city I also lived through many difficulties caused by the World War. During the Revolution I saw, the people fraternising with the soldiers and overturned the Tsars power. I will always remember those days when the people ruled themselves. I also remember the arrival of the Whites (Nationalists/Monarchists) their shameful power and butchery of thousands of workers.
